Mingling thoughts, knock at my door,
Finding their identiy, they sometimes roar...
They sleep with me, we spend the whole night together,
Just to find out that we've lots to gather...
Morning shines over me, but clouds are still there,
Never willing to leave me alone, still I've nothing to share...
Shapeless forms every day, with a hope of finding a curve,
a point, a dimension, a depth and soul to serve..
I see the shades, I see the light,
somewhere a path, somewhere a sight..
I move on, still not alone yet alone..

Taare Zameen Par - They truly are :)
Taare Zameen Par - A beautiful film, touching the chords of every heart, telling us that there are stars amongst us, whose brightness is sometimes overshadowed by the stronger moon but on a moonless night, it's these stars only who shine and make the sky [aan haan, this earth] look so very beautiful.
The movie was good enough to keep me engrossed till end, even during the interval, it took me back to my childhood days, the dreams that I used to see when I was a kid - dreams full of color, dreams in which I talked to lovely vibrant butterflies and also run to catch them.
Does the childhood really get over or is it us only who forget the kid within us. I still think of flowers, I still love playing with colors, I still love cracking jokes that don't make any sense, I still love teasing my friends, people still call me crazy at times when I do this :) but these are the things that bring me lot of smiles everytime, even when I'm alone..
Why to refrain ourselves from kicking the child like laughters that are dying to break the walls of our superficialities, our tantrums to pretend something to the world that we are actually not.
Just think of the moments:
- when you've stopped by to pass a smile to a lovely kid who's bidding you bye from the window of a school bus early in the morning.
- when you've made a lovely card without any reason for someone whom you like.. I still remember getting so many such cards from the kids and trust me, they touch your heart!
Now, think of the times, when we've shouted at the poor kids at the red light, even kicked them, called them names.. Don't they have right to be treated special, don't they want to play with the colors, like our own kids who are enjoying all the luxuries at home? [while I'm writing this, I'm impersonating all the parents, I would love to be one some day :) ]
Have we ever invited the dhabawalla chottu to have a cup of warm tea with us while we're enjoying the spicy dhaba food? No.. but we never forget to call him to pick our utensils and wipe off the table... Next time you sit to enjoy the makhan wala paranthas on a dhaba, don't forget to leave smiles on children's face there and notice them bidding you such a wonderful bye.. :)
Be a support to all the wonderful lovely kids around, including our own. The lovely, pure souls can't take the burden of our expectations else they'll become colorless. Would you like living in this colorless world ever?
Cherish these little flowers around and see the beauty they bring to you :)
Have a colorful life..
